Our country is dealing with some serious financial issues right now. For starters we are in the middle of the most crippling economic collapse to hit since the great depression, we are fighting not one but two wars and may end up fighting a third, and to make matters worse consumer credit card debt is going through the roof. All of these issues are leaving Americans struggling pretty badly when it comes to staying on top of their finances.
It’s unfortunate that most people don’t comprehend just how big of a negative effect credit card debt can have on their financial health. For a lot of US residents it would be tremendous if they could figure out a system to get out of debt quickly, allowing them to free up room in their monthly budget and hopefully dodge the horrors this recession is bringing to millions of homes nationwide.
Credit card monthly minimum payments are scheduled to take a minimum of three decades to pay off, and over the course of this payoff period the debtor will wind up paying back over five times the current balance in interest alone; and take note these statistics are when the interest rate is low. The end goal of the credit card organization is to get the interest rate up by default, which will typically triple all the numbers mentioned above.
When it reaches this point most people think a Chapter 13 is their only option to get rid of credit card debt, but the reality is there is another much more sensible solution that has been tremendously aiding US residents all across the country.
This resolution is debt negotiation, a process where you can expect to save both cash and time on the road to debt freedom. Throughout the debt negotiation process a saving of up to sixty percent of the balance owed is very common.
The process itself is not all that simple, but thankfully there are debt negotiation companies that can tremendously help you in setting up the right plan to help you escape this debt nightmare.
The truth is that any American who is trapped in credit card debt during this economic collapse would greatly gain from getting out of debt.
Nobody should risk their loved ones’ well being by continuing to pay minimum monthly payments that will last until death and drain your bank account all for the greed of the credit card companies – who are not the friends of debtors. All they care about is making as much profit as possible and they don’t remotely sympathize with their customers’ heartache.
